Making his debut release for the label; Ras Tizzo Kalalankoma a Ugandan Reggae/Dancehall singer and member of Tsunami High Rebels crew. Suubi (meaning “hope” in Luganda) is an uplifting positive message in these treacherous times. Sung in a mixture of Luganda and English;
Tizzo implores the people to push forward on a positive path.
Sung over the “Night Palace” riddim.
The Night Palace riddim was produced by DJ Moocha on his first visit to Uganda in 2018, created as a vehicle that could complement the various styles of MCs and singers from around the region. Embedded in the track are nods to Moocha’s DJ style, incorporating elements of DnB/Jungle and Hip Hop.
