about

After a chance meeting at Stonefest festival, taking place at the source of the River Nile in Jinja, Uganda; Silton Busulwa and DJ Moocha agreed to record together for the first time. A month later they were in the studio voicing the hook for a dub heavy praise to Jah. Later in the session NuttyBoi Fucha came along and added a contrasting vocal to the track.

Silton Busulwa is a Reggae artist born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. Inspired by the infectious sound from the Caribbean, he regularly tears up festival stages across East Africa. Watch out for the "Liberation" album with producers such as MixMaster (Kenya), Lawraid, DJ Moocha (UK), and Cole Nafty (South Africa). He is also a seasoned radio presenter.

NuttyBoi Fucha is a Ugandan dancehall artist, song writer, producer and graphic designer. Originally from Jinja, Uganda, he was raised in Seattle, U.S.A. HE is known for his hit records "Me She Want" and "Up and Down". Nutty's non-compromising lyrics reflect the environment he grew up in. The public has taken onto this ghetto youth who has some of the biggest songs in the dance right now.

Moocha is a versatile DJ and producer from the UK known for his hard hitting, bass heavy riddims. Learning his skills playing for jungle pirate stations such as Flex FM, Origin FM and Kool FM; these days he records with artists from across the world, predominantly from the East African region. This is his second release on East African Records.
